Chinese Chess Day of Swidwin 2024

Local organizers and european supporters of the boardgame “Xiangqi” – Chinese Chess – are happy to invite all people, who are interested in this game, for the ‘Chinese Chess Day of Swidwin 2024’.

We will offer learning lessons to everyone, who is willing to learn this boardgame, which is played by many millions; mainly in China and Vietnam.

Xiangqi is even older than the more popular International Chess.

Learning the pieces doesn’t take long. Since it’s as complex and complicated as Chess, you’ll soon find out the same pleasure – and frustration – when playing this game.

For the ones who know this game already, we offer a small tournament to find out your strength.

The tournament will be organized at site, when it becomes obvious, who will actually attend this event.

Both, the lessons and the tournament, are conducted by internationally recognized skillful players, who have a lot of experience in teaching this game.
